To Be Continued is a captivating love letter to Hong Kong and its pioneering impresario, Harry Odell, who brought The Beatles and Isaac Stern to the city for the first time. Flamboyant and cigar-chomping, Odell was a Cairo-born, Shanghai-bred Russian Jew who significantly impacted post-war Hong Kong’s cultural life by hosting legends like Cliff Richard and Xavier Cugat at his iconic State Theatre.  His hopeful, though often loss-making, ventures expanded the cultural boundaries of his adopted home, capturing the open, dynamic, and inclusive spirit of a bygone era and leaving a lasting legacy. What began as a conservation campaign to save the State Theatre from demolition evolved into five years of research and interviews with those who knew Odell. The result is a film that explores both the life of this indomitable entertainment tycoon and a soul-searching journey into what defines Hong Kong. Rich with local history, it celebrates Hong Kong’s vibrant culture and resilient spirit.

《尚未完場》是一封獻給香港和歐德禮的情書。歐德禮是將披頭四和艾薩克·斯特恩帶給香港的娛樂大亨，一位開羅出世、上海長大的俄籍猶太人，創辦了皇都戲院的前身璇宮戲院。他為求理想、不求盈利的事業擴闊了香港的文化視野，捕捉了殖民地時代的開放精神，留下了深遠的影響。當初保育皇都戲院的運動演化成了五年的研究與採訪，誕生成這部紀錄片，探究的不僅是歐德禮的一生，更是何謂「香港」與「香港人」。《尚未完場》是一部流露着香港歷史、文化與精神的電影。

Directors’ bio
Dora Choi has been a news feature and documentary director in mainstream media for more than 10 years, focusing on politics and social affairs. She co-founded cultural enterprise Walk in Hong Kong.

Haider Kikabhoy is a fourth-generation Hongkonger with family roots in Mumbai and Guangdong’s Kaiping, Haider co-founded cultural enterprise Walk in Hong Kong. He was formerly a human rights campaigner and an academic researcher on Hong Kong’s architectural history. “To Be Continued” is his first documentary film.

徐岱靈（生於香港）,在主流傳媒製作紀錄片逾十年,題材專注香港政治及社會議題。文化企業「活現香港」聯合創辦人。喜愛旅遊,曾旅居印度及墨⻄哥，近年更愛遊走香港大街小巷，對人類學和浮世繪也有濃厚興趣。《尚未完場》是她首部合導的紀錄長片。

祁凱達，家族四代均紮根香港，祖先來自印度孟買和廣東開平。文化企業「活現香港」聯合創辦人,曾參與香港建築歷史的學術研究。從小聽母親訴說昔日油麻地各大戲院的奇聞軼事，自此沉迷發掘歷史夾縫中的香港故事，也希望透過歐德禮的傳奇故事重新發現香港。《尚未完場》是他首次參與紀錄片製作。
