Festival FAQ

  1. CAN I BUY TICKETS ON-SITE?

    Since we hold certain seats for pass-holders, we may have a limited number of last-minute tickets available on site. If interested, please be sure to arrive at the venues extra early.

  2. WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

    All sales are final.  No refunds will be given.  Exchanges are only available when a program is canceled. 

  3. HOW CAN I CONTRIBUTE TO THE FESTIVAL?

    Hong Kong On Screen thrives on developing relationships with partners and allies who share our values. Join us as we continue to uplift and connect our communities.  If you’re interested in financial contributions, please contact our Director of Advancement at info@hkonscreen.org.

  4. WHO CAN I ASK IF I NEED HELP AT THE VENUE?

    Our venue is staffed by volunteers who can answer many of your questions. They make the Festival possible by donating their time, so please be patient and don’t forget to thank them for their efforts.

  5. HOW CAN I BECOME A VOLUNTEER?

    Become a volunteer by filling out this Google Form! If your help is not needed for this Festival, we will contact you afterwards for help during our regular season.

  6. DO YOU SHOW TRAILERS OR PREVIEWS?

    We do not show any previews. Certain screenings will start after a short introduction. Please arrive on time for your screenings. The Festival cannot be held accountable for late starts or entrances.

  7. IS SEATING ASSIGNED?

    Unless seats are specified on your ticket (which is the case at some of our multiplex venues), all screenings will be free seating.

  8. HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR A SCREENING?

    We suggest arriving 30 minutes before a screening begins. When you arrive at the venue, there will be a pass-holder line and a ticket-holder. Please get in your corresponding line. Priority access will be given to the pass-holder line.

  9. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO A SCREENING?

    PASSHOLDERS: Just bring your pass! Ensure you’ve picked up your physical pass with your name at our front desk.  We will accept printed confirmations too. 

    TICKETHOLDERS: Bring a printed ticket or use your phone to display the QR code for the screening or event.  The ticket must be attached to a specific film.

  10. HOW DO I COLLECT MY PASS?

    If you’re a pass-holder, your pass will be ready for collection at your first screening. Please go up to the ticketing front desk and find a volunteer for your pass.

  1. 我能否在現場購票？

    由於我們將預留少數座位給套票持票人，我們可能會有少數門票留待現場發售。如欲購票，請預早到達放映場地。

  2. 你們有甚麼退票政策？
    本電影節所有門票不設退票。如有放映取消，我們將會安排替換。

  3. 我能如何貢獻電影節？
    銀幕·香港電影節一直希望跟持共同理念的同路人保持緊密聯繫，同時令我們的社群成長。如有興趣拔刀相助，請電郵 info@hkonscreen.org 聯絡發展總監。

  4. 我在現場如何尋求協助？
    我們的放映現場將會有義工回答你的問題。每年的電影節全賴這群義工犧牲時間達成，所以在求助時，請保持耐性並感謝他們的努力。

  5. 我能如何參與你們的工作？
    如果你有興趣幫忙當義工，請填妥這表格！如果我們今屆電影節所需的人手已經足夠，我們將會在稍後恆常季節活動時再聯絡你。

  6. 開場前會否有預告？
    開場不設預告。部份場次在開始前將會有簡短的介紹。請依時到達你的放映場次。主辦方無法保證準時入席或放映。

  7. 電影場次有否劃位？

    除非你的門票有指定座位（大型影院場次），所有場次均不設劃位。

  8. 我應該多早到達？
    我們建議你在開場前30分鐘到達場地。現場將會設有套票和單場票的兩條隊伍，請依票排隊。套票持票人將能提早入場。

  9. 我要帶甚麼進場？
    套票觀眾：只需要帶你的套票。記得到前檯領取印有你姓名的套票。持有確認信息的打印本亦可以入場。

    單場門票觀眾：請攜帶你的門票的打印本或手機上的QR Code進場。請確保你的門票場次正確。

  10. 我能如何領取套票？

    如果你是套票觀眾，你可在你的首場放映領取套票。請到前檯聯絡義工尋求協助。
